Our Dance Intensive and Street Dance Summer Schools are designed to provide a comprehensive dance experience for young dancers, tailored to their age. Both programmes cater to five distinct age groups: 5-7 years, 8-10 years, 11-13 years, 14-16 years, 17+ years
5 Days: From Monday to Friday, our dance summer schools immerse students in high-energy choreography that sparks growth and enhance skills. Each day is an exciting journey of learning, creativity, and fun.
5 Classes a Day: Students will participate in five dynamic classes each day, covering a range of dance styles and techniques.

YES we have plenty!!
Whilst the course is not accredited, we can provide Certificate of Attendance.
We provide every attendee with a PPAS Summer School T-shirt and we have an award for the best customised T-shirt.
We award 2 Scholarships on both of our Summer School Courses for students to attend 12 week term held at Pineapple Studios every Sunday. -
Anyone aged 5-17+ years is welcome to take part in our PPAS Dance Summer Schools.

Our Dance Summer School caters for beginner and experienced level of dance. Our dance teachers take the time to cover the essential basics of the technique and build confidence over the week.

No students should bring their own packed lunch with plenty to drink plus a small snack. However, as we have many students with food allergies, please avoid nuts and sesame seeds.

We recommend students wear soft, comfortable clothing that is easy to move in, such as tracksuit bottoms and a t-shirt with extra layers for warmth. Any preferred shoes are welcomed. To ensure your safety and the safety of others, we ask that you don’t wear jewellery in the studio.

Gemma Hoddy
Choreographer and dance artist based in both London UK and Dubai UAE. I have a wealth of experience in both choreography and performance ranging from hip hop theatre shows touring worldwide to performing with Rhianna and Drake at the BRIT Awards with RnD Creatives! I have choreographed for the likes of John Newman, EXPO 2020 Dubai, Hersheys, Dubizzle, Mattel and Rugby 7's opening ceremony and have performed on various stages worldwide with the likes of Rita Ora, Dizzee Rascal, Maya Diab, REDONE and Boy Blue Entertainment.
Robbie MacMillian
We are delighted to welcome West End performer Robbie McMillan as a guest teacher to our staff team! Robbie will be working with our students at Dancepoint Musical Theatre School as well as working with our associated college Hamilton Theatre Arts.
Robbie is from Australia and trained with Queensland Ballet in Brisbane. Since coming to the UK, he’s appeared in many West End and Touring shows including White Christmas (West End), Mistoffelees in Cats (Kilworth House), Guys and Dolls (Paris), Flashdance (UK Tour), Chess (West End) and Mistoffelees in Cats (International Tour).
Robbie has danced all over the globe with major cruise lines including Royal Caribbean, Norwegian and Princess Cruises.
In Australia, Robbie worked with Expressions Dance Company, Queensland Ballet, Paris Opera Ballet….he’s even appeared on the Australian version of So You Think You Can Dance!
Nicola mac
Nicola Mac is the Choreographer and Director of The Queens; an all-female dance group that appeared on the hit TV show The Greatest Dancer, BBC One. Since graduating Nicola has generated her own work, concentrating on her Jazz company The Queens. She has dedicated time to working on herself and her craft, furthering her knowledge and experience by teaching, exploring and creating new movement. Nicola found her unique style while fusing her Jazz training with other dance foundations. Nicola has produced, directed, choreographed and danced in the industry, mostly under her own management. As a woman in the industry, she would like to be an example to others of someone who is making their own way and creating their own path. Her work is a dynamic fusion of storytelling and style.
Professional choreographic credits include: Cirque Enchantment UK Theatre Tour 2017, Piano Legends UK Tour 2018, First place at The Hotstepper UK competition 2019, Top 3 and Final 12 on The Greatest Dancer BBC One 2020, Barry’s X The Queens Campaign 2020, Fila UK Trigate Advert 2021 and TAG Live ‘WOW’ Show 2021: INTERSTELLAR. She most recently choreographed ‘Aladdin” at the Theatre Royal Margate and was the runner up in a worldwide choreographic competition, hosted by American artist, Blake McGrath.
Chris Tendai
Christopher Tendai is an up and coming Theatre Choreographer, breathing a fresh new life into the imagery of how we see Theatre and Dance productions. Some of his recent credits include: Wuthering Heights Workshop Showing (4****), Children of Eden (5*****) and The Wonderful (4****) winning an Offie Award (2021).
"Within my body of work, I like to lead with ‘intention’ first and then allow the movement to follow. In my opinion I feel that ‘narrative’ is the fundamental aspect of creating powerful movement. I like to integrate different dance styles such as: Contemporary, Jazz, Afro Beats and Physical Theatre. I always like to ask myself the question ‘Why’ and allow the relevance of movement to blend with the use of dynamics which, I believe, heightens the work."
Christopher is also the Artistic Director for the Award-Winning Dance Company: CTC Dance Company. The company are known for their thought provoking works such as ‘IDENTITY’ and their recent show ‘iNk’d’. The Company currently have a partnership at Theatre Peckham (London).
His next endeavour is to choreograph Theatre Peckham’s Christmas show: Scroogelicious, and CTC’s new show debuting at Theatre Peckham in spring 2023.

Reece Woodier
Reece first discovered his passion for dance at the age of 16, being a late starter he knew he had a lot to catch up on in a short space of time! With his drive and determination it wasn’t long before he was titled as Master Dance of Great Britain and then further onto securing himself a fully funded place on the 3 year course at the prestigious Laine Theatre Arts, it was here he started to widen his ability and knowledge of many other genres of dance.

Grace Mouat
Grace Mouat is an actress, dancer, singer and director from Camberley, England. She was the dance captain and a swing in the West End production of Six the Musical. For the 2018 UK tour, she was an understudy for all 6 roles. On 18th August 2019, she left the show after playing for the last time as Catherine of Aragon.
She is well known for her portrayal of Catherine Parr, Katherine Howard, Anna of Cleves, Jane Seymour, Anne Boleyn and Catherine of Aragon. On 13th October 2019, Mouat was on stage at the end of Maiya Quansah-Breed, Aimie Atkinson, and Millie O’Connell’s final show. However, she didn’t perform. She is also a guest performer alongside Alicia Corrales-Connor, Renee Lab, Maiya Quansah-Breed, and Vicki Manser at Six’s Queens Uncrowned concert, and also as the 2019-20 UK Tour cast.

Fabiane Leame
Fabiane is a trained gymnast, incredible dancer and choreographer. I call her my little sister because when I first met her, I saw myself in her- we shared the same drive and passion for dance.
Fabiane teaches Contemporary, Jazz and Heels at various studios including my studio (Studio 68 London) but she is so skilled that she could teach anything. Her skills, technique and hard work have got her work in the industry with artists such as Sean Paul, Stefflon Don, Jax Jones, Lady Leshurr, Lola Rae and brands like Adidas and MTV.
Jordan J Funk
At 25 years old Jordan ‘J-Funk’ Franklin has been dancing for 14 years. He is a Middlesex University contemporary dance graduate, and has been a member of Boy Blue for over 10 years, Toured globally with their production Blak, Whyte, Gray as well as performing in Pied Piper: A Hip Hop Dance Revolution, Legacy and Unleashed at the Barbican among other venues.
Jordan Franklin’s other credits include: Stormzy, Jess Glynne, Jax Jones, Little Mix, Ellie Goulding, Anne Marie, Jungle, The Voice UK and The Queen's 92nd Birthday Show. He is also the Mentor/Leader for his collective ‘Y.O.U’ and a choreographer for New Movementz Dance Compan
Nathan Mawfa
Coming from an African background, I cannot remember a time when I did not want to dance. I have a passion and commitment to dance which I believe has enable me to reach my ultimate goal of becoming a professional dancer, choreographer and dance teacher. I’ve always been intrigued by dance and how through movement a dancer can interpret and respond to music to portray an array of emotions and experiences. No other aspect of my life compares to the freedom and elation I feel when dancing.

Joel Ekperigin
Growing up with the passion of a street dancer, Joel Ekperigin started dancing when he was ten years old. At the age of fourteen, he began to get a host of opportunities as part of his Sunday school, the Pineapple Performing Arts. Later, Joel joined Cerebro, a dance group and honed his skills further. It was a fantastic experience, after which he decided to pursue dance as his career and joined the Wilkes Academy of Performing Arts for training. In his first year of training, he got a complete training scholarship from P&O cruises.

While training, he took part in various projects like Peter Pan – First Family Entertainment, House Full 3, The Collection Amazon, Britain’s Got Talent, Magic Mike Live, SHOOT DANCE, and Aladdin – First Family Entertainment. Joel made his professional theatre debut as a dancer in Thriller Live!
Emily Golding
mily was born in Bristol and trained in classical styles and all forms of Street dance since the age of thirteen. She then moved to London to pursue a professional dance career whilst studying at the University of Roehampton. As part of her BA Honours dance degree Emily studied abroad for four months in America training at the Broadway Dance Centre, New York and the University of North Carolina, Greensboro.
Since Emily’s 2013 graduation she signed to multiple dance agencies in London such as, Mass Movement, Mark Summers, RnD Creatives and United Productions.
Her commercial credits include, ITV's Dancing on Ice, London Fashion Week, Nike, Ferrari, Fenty Beauty by Rihanna and Channel 4 - Alan Carr’s Chatty Man. Her theatre work includes, Thriller Live UK, Egypt and China tour.
Emily has always created choreography, her breakthrough as a Choreographer came in 2019 when she was booked to choreograph an Artist World Tour for the Grammy/Brit award nominated band Bring Me The Horizon. Emily recently worked closely with the lead singer Oliver Sykes in LA shooting their new music video “Ludens”, in affiliation with Play Station 4. As a choreographer she has worked for brands such as Oddbins, BP Pulse, Robe and choreographed for live stage events such as Glastonbury, BBC Radio 1 Big Weekend, Lollapalooza Chicago and supported Baby Metal at the Saitima Super Arena, Tokyo.
Emily is also signed to multiple modelling agencies such as Atmosphere Faces and Select Sports Artists and has modelled for brands such as Lanza Haircare and Pointe Apparel.
Emily is a judge for UDO and has taught dance workshops all over the U.K in areas such as
Bristol, London, Scotland and further afield America, Abu Dhabi and China.
Emily has an admirable passion for success within dance and is continuously developing as a performer, choreographer and teacher.

Alisha Margetson
The gorgeous Alisha Margetson @alishamargetson
Alisha started Dancing at the age of 7 where she then went on to graduate at North London Dance Studios in 2014.
She took her first job performing and choreographing abroad and now she's performed all over the UK and internationally.
Her credits include: Stormzy, Burna Boy, WizKid(02 and Birmingham arena), Brit Awards, AJ Tracey, Mostack, Not3s, Maleek Berry, BBC, Netflix Jidenna, Dbanj, Unknown T, London Fashion week,Mr Eazi, Riton & Kah-Lo, reading and Leeds festival Boy George, Eugy, One Africa music festival at Wembley Arena, London pride and much more.
